Armed Forces Day 2023

 

On Saturday 24th June, Armed Forces Day, we supported The 4th Battalion of The Mercian Regiment, their reserve Battalion, with their display at Ellesmere Port’s Arcades.  Click on the image of soldiers and the pavilion to learn more about them. (You can just see us in the background on the left of this picture).   

We played at The Colonnade which is an impressive circular break in the Arcade with a high vaulted ceiling which did a good job of enhancing the sound of our playing. The first picture below gives you a panoramic view of the area.  (As you can see, another possible draw for the band was the proximity of Costa Coffee.)
